Apple Introduces Lower-cost Smartphone iPhone 5C With Five Bright Colors
Along with the iPhone 5S, Apple introduced its lower-cost smartphone iPhone 5C at its headquarters in California on Tuesday evening (September 10, 2013). It features BlueTooth 4.0 LE and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, too. Especially, the smartphone will also feature Apple’s new operating system, iOS 7.
Moreover, it includes an 8 megapixel iSight rear camera and an improved FaceTime HD camera at the front that’s designed for improved video calls and self portraits.

As for battery life, the iPhone 5C offers 10 hours for Internet browsing on LTE while standby time is rated at 250 hours.
The iPhone 5C will cost $99 for a 16GB model and $199 for a 32GB version, with a two-year wireless contract. It will be available for purchase on September 20 in the U.S with options for green, white, blue, pink, and yellow colors.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 5C at its headquarters in Cupertino, California on Tuesday night (September 10, 2013). The new device is the first of its kind, coming in a variety of bright colors rather than just white and black, coming in white, green, blue, pink, and yellow.
The iPhone 5C measures 4 inches diagonally and has an 8-megapixel camera like the iPhone 5.
The new smartphone is said to be compatible with more LTE bands than any other smartphone in the world.
The handset’s casing is made of plastic, rather than the high-strength metal that protects its more expensive cousin, the iPhone 5S.
With a better front-facing FaceTime HD camera and a slightly larger battery, the iPhone 5C appears to be a slight upgrade over the existing iPhone 5.
