Redsn0w was the only tool left to be compatible with 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak after Absinthe, Sn0wbreeze and Pwnage tool. Today, iPhone dev team released a new version of Redsn0w that can be used to jailbreak all devices running iOS 5.1.1 including the iPad 2, iPad 3 and the iPhone 4S.
What you need:
1. Latest version of Redsn0w. Download from our Redsn0w download page.
2. Latest version of iTunes which can be downloaded from itunes.apple.com.
3. Your device must be running iOs 5.1.1.
Note: If you are already jailbroken on iOs 5.1.1, there is no need to re-jailbreak your device.

Step 1: Connect your device with computer via USB cable.
Step 2: Run Redsn0w.
Step 3: Click Jailbreak button and let Redsn0w do the rest for you. You will see Restore in Progress screen on your device. Don't interact with it.
This may take some time depending on the media volume you have on your device. You will be notified once your device has successfully been jailbroken.
You will now find cydia in your device which indicates that you have a jailbroken iOs device running 5.1.1 firmware version. Enjoy.
