Sam unlock method was discovered by a Chinese hacker known as Loktar Sun that could be used to unlock iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 running any iOS version on any baseband.
Loktar Sun actually found a bug in the Apple activation servers in the cydia utility known as SAM which is widely used to activate or fix push notifications in iPhone. Just 2-3 days after this unlock technique was discovered, Apple fixed their activation servers and thus SAM unlock became history. But those who already unlocked their iPhones using this method were safe as long as they have had backed up unlock activation tickets.
This is how sam unlock method used to work.
Step 1: Open up Cydia and add a source: repo.bingner.com
Step 2: Install SAM from Cydia.
Step 3: Open up SAM. go to Utilities and Tap on Attempt Activation.
That's it. In just three simply steps, you get your iPhone unlocked but unfortunately, this method no longer works.
